Daily Writing Prompt - Inventions


Rube Goldberg was a very popular cartoonist, who became well-known for his drawings of intricate inventions to accomplish simple tasks, such as the self-operating napkin shown above. There are many Goldberg invention contests all over the world with contestants competing to make the most outlandish inventions to accomplish easy tasks such as cracking an egg.
What silly invention would you create to accomplish a simple task? Give instructions such as the ones below that describe the self-operating napkin above.
Self Operating napkin
As you raise spoon of soup (A) to your mouth it pulls the string (B) therey jeking ladle (C) which throws cracker (D) past parrot (E) parrot jumps after cracker and perch (F) tilts, upsetting seeds (G) into pail. (H) Extra weight in pail pulls cord (I) which opens and lights automatic cigar lighter (J) setting off sky rocket (K) which causes sickle (L) to cut string (M) and allow pendulum with attached napkin to swing back and forth therey wiping off your chin.
