Whales Lesson Plan

History
On this day in 1851, Herman Melville’s novel, Moby Dick, was published. Moby Dick was about a whale. Whales are large mammals that breathe air through blowholes. They belong to the order Cetacea - Cetaceans is the scientific name for whales, dolphins and porpoises.

I have a very close friend who homeschooled all three of her daughters. Two of them have gone off to highschool, the third wants to stay at home for one more year.

Your lesson plan, and my girlfriend and her children by who they were, often made me wish I would home educate.
