Homeschool Math Challenge May 19

There was too much crime in Capital City. The mayor decided to hire 6 more police officers to patrol the neighborhood. His plan seemed to have worked. Before the new officers were hired, there were 1050 crimes reported. After the officers were hired, crimes had gone down to 920 crimes reported. By what percent did the number of crimes decrease?
