Does Food Taste Better From McDonald's

Here's some news that probably won't surprise you: Kids love McDonalds. If you ask any child if he wants to go there for dinner, he'll probably jump up and down with joy. But here's some news that might surprise you: according to a recent study, if any kind of food is wrapped in McDonald’s packaging, even carrots, kids think that it tastes better than the SAME food not wrapped in McDonald’s packaging.Sixty-three children between the ages of three and five were offered five pairs of food -- two sets of burgers, two sets of fries, and so on. One burger, for example, was placed in McDonald's packaging. The other burger was placed in plain packaging. The children were then asked if the food tasted the same, or if one tasted better than the other. 48% liked the hamburgers and 70% liked the fries better when they thought the food had come from McDonalds.

Kids were also given carrots and milk in McDonald’s packaging, and they thought that the carrots and milk tasted better when they came from the McDonald’s.
